2013 Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser - a HUGE Success!
The Venture Club and Soroptimists of Centre Co worked together to make this year's Lasagna Dinner and Silent Auction a roaring success. The grand total that was raised for Housing Transitions at this year's Lasagna Dinner and Silent Auction was over $5000 !! This record breaking total was certainly helped by the immensely successful Silent Auction that raised $1,602 by itself. Big congratulations and thanks to Richel and all of her team for the super organization of this event and thank you so much to everyone for making this year's event such a success.
Jeopardy Night is a Big Success!
The target charity, the Geri Reeve Breast Cancer organization, is the REAL winner! Congratulations to the Soroptimist team for taking the Win at this year’s Jeopardy match and Pot Luck Dinner event held on the 20th!!! We all had lots of laughs and even learned a thing or two. Thanks to Tiffany for compiling all the questions and organizing the entire game - very well done again this year!!
SICC Awarded NAR Governor's Cup in 2012!
Based on the detailed information submitted which summarized all the hard work of the club members, the Soroptimist International of Centre County Club was awarded the NAR Governor's Cup in 2012. The award was presented for the club's outstanding support of the service programs sponsored by the North Atlantic Region. Thanks to Gloria Gladd and Linda Wilson (and eveyone else who helped) for their efforts to complete the detailed application.
