2026 Celebration of Service Award
Soroptimist Celebration of Service Award For Women Helping Women honors women who, through
their professional or personal efforts, are making an extraordinary difference
in the lives of women or girls. Honorees are women who have worked to improve
the lives of other women or girls. Their work has had significant impact, and
also inspires and encourages other women.

Held typically on first Monday of the month at the Community Room at Arize Federal Credit Union in State College, PA (unless noted below), networking at 5:30-6p, dinner at 6p and meeting at 6:45p. Curious? Join us for a meeting!

Each year, our club provides educational support awards to 2-4 women who are primary financial supporters for their family and are working to get additional training or education to increase their financial stability. Applications are open in mid-November and due at end of the year. A review committee works to determine the winners and awards are given in March. The winner also can compete at the district and national levels. Contact us for more information.

One of the club’s major fundraising events, golfers will enjoy a day of fun at the Penn State Blue Course – scheduled for Sept. 2026. Golf teams and sponsors welcome! More details to follow.
