DREAM IT, BE IT

Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls is one of the signature ‘DREAM’ programs sponsored by Soroptimist.  This program gives girls the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.  Each club has different ways of providing this support – from day long workshops to presentations in summer camps for girls or in schools. 

SI Centre County has provided hands-on help to programs with similar missions such as the Jana Marie Foundation, StormBreak Shelter, Discovery Space GLOW summer camp, Hameau Camp for Girls and others. This is an opportunity to connect with young women, provide mentorship and programming to help build their self-confidence and improve decision making skills.
